For 17 years, Pedal the Cause has brought people across the St. Louis region together for a powerful reason: supporting cancer research and working toward a future without cancer.

Clement Hyundai was proud to participate in the event again this year, joining thousands of riders, volunteers, families, organizations, and community supporters at the Family Arena.

Our continued involvement in Pedal the Cause reflects something that is important to us as a local dealership. We believe being part of a community also means supporting the people and organizations working to make that community stronger.

17 Years of Pedaling With a Purpose

Pedal the Cause began in 2010 and has since grown into one of the region's significant community fundraising efforts for cancer research.

Over the years, the organization has raised more than $56 million and supported hundreds of cancer research projects at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids.

Those funds help researchers investigate new approaches to understanding and treating different forms of cancer. By supporting research locally, Pedal the Cause helps provide resources for projects that have the potential to contribute to progress in cancer care.

That mission has kept people coming back year after year.

Some participants ride for loved ones. Some celebrate survivors. Others participate in memory of family members or friends. Many simply want to contribute to a cause that affects families in St. Louis and around the world.

Whatever brings someone to the event, everyone shares a common purpose.

Thousands Coming Together at the Family Arena

One of the most inspiring parts of Pedal the Cause is seeing just how many people are willing to get involved.

The event brings together people from throughout the region, from experienced cyclists to families, volunteers, local organizations, and businesses.

This year's gathering at the Family Arena continued that tradition.

More than $56 million raised since 2010 is the result of that consistency.

It's also why we're especially proud to be returning participants rather than supporting the event for only a single year.

We want to recognize everyone who helped make this year's Pedal the Cause possible.
